The cilantro, lime and ginger are refreshing and such a relief for the tastebuds during this looong grey winter.

2 c. - spinach or leafy green of choice
1/2 c. - cilantro
2 - frozen bananas
1/2 lime - juiced
1 knob - fresh ginger, peeled
optional boosters: hemp seeds or hemp protein powder, chia, ground flax
Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Add hemp seeds or powder for an important boost of protein and omega 3 fatty acids. Chia and ground flax are also packed with omega 3s, and will keep you full longer. Enjoy!
